Coat oversized transformer tanks — inside and out — in one enclosed, explosion-proof booth. Configurable to workpieces up to 12,000 mm and 50 tonnes, with floor-mounted chain transfer that removes the need for overhead cranes.

2. Why an Enclosed Booth for Oversized Tanks

· Overspray containment — a 35-tonne tank generates a very large paint cloud; an enclosed envelope with four-stage filtration keeps it out of the workshop and off neighbouring equipment.

· Explosion protection — oil-based coatings demand explosion-proof motors, lighting, control cabinets and wiring. Open spraying cannot meet this.

· Spray and bake in one place — once a 35 T workpiece is positioned, you do not want to move it again. Heating in the same envelope removes an entire handling step.

· Consistent finish on long surfaces — a stable 0.25 – 0.35 m/s down-draft across the full envelope holds gun distance and film build uniform from end to end.

· Operator access to internal surfaces — full-height door access plus side lighting lets operators work inside the tank safely.

Full internal and external coating was achieved in a single booth with diesel heating rated at 300 kW.

What is the maximum workpiece weight?	Standard designs cover up to 50 T, with the transfer system rated above the workpiece. Heavier duties can be engineered on request.
Do you build for 60 Hz / 380 V?	Yes. Booths are built to regional power standards including 380 V 60 Hz; confirm your site supply at enquiry stage.
What explosion protection is included?	Explosion-proof motors, lighting enclosures, control cabinet, flexible conduit and junction boxes, rated for oil-based coatings.
How is a 35-tonne tank moved?	A floor-mounted roller-chain transfer cart carries the workpiece on a platform. This avoids the cost and headroom of an overhead crane.
