Continuous Lead Refining Furnace for Lead Processing Plant

The automatic lead refining furnace is core thermal processing equipment for crude lead purification in non-ferrous metal metallurgical plants. It adopts pyrometallurgical refining technology to remove impurities such as copper, tin, arsenic, antimony, and bismuth from crude lead obtained from ore smelting or waste lead battery recycling.

After multi-stage refining treatment, the lead product can reach high purity standards for subsequent electrolytic lead production and anode plate casting. This furnace is widely applied in secondary lead recycling projects and primary lead smelting workshops.

It completes impurity removal, temperature control, and molten lead pouring in one continuous process. Compared with traditional manual refining furnaces, this model improves production stability, reduces metal loss, and cuts down labor input.

Crude lead material enters the furnace body after pre-melting. Under controlled high temperature environment, different impurity elements form slag phase or intermetallic compound separately through adding corresponding flux. Impurity slag floats on the surface of molten lead and can be skimmed off periodically.

The PLC system monitors furnace temperature in real time and adjusts fuel supply automatically. After reaching target purity, refined molten lead can be directly transferred to casting station for anode plate production.
