Product Introduction
KYF II Pneumatic Flotation Machine is a forced-air mechanical agitation flotation machine designed for mineral processing applications.
The machine combines mechanical agitation with an external air supply and is suitable for flotation operations in large and medium-sized mineral processing plants.
KYF II has no slurry suction capability. It can be used together with XCF II flotation machines to form a complete flotation circuit. When the two models are combined, the first cell of each flotation stage can use an XCF II flotation machine, while the remaining cells use KYF II flotation machines.
The machine is suitable for the flotation of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals. It can be used for roughing and cleaning operations.
Main Features
Working Principle
The KYF II flotation machine uses mechanical agitation together with an external air supply.
During operation, the impeller agitates the slurry while air is introduced into the flotation cell through the external air supply system. The supplied air is dispersed in the slurry, creating conditions for mineral particles to attach to bubbles and form mineralized froth.
Since KYF II does not have slurry suction capability, slurry transfer between flotation stages must be considered when designing the flotation circuit.
When KYF II is used together with XCF II flotation machines, the XCF II machine can be arranged as the first cell of each flotation stage, while KYF II machines are used in the remaining cells. This arrangement allows the flotation units to be installed at the same level and reduces the need for a froth pump for froth return.
Independent KYF II Configuration
When KYF II flotation machines are used independently, the flotation units should be arranged at different elevations.
In this configuration, a froth pump is required for froth return between flotation stages.
For flotation circuits requiring slurry suction between stages, KYF II can be combined with XCF II flotation machines.
