SF Mining Flotation Cell Double Pulp Circulation 0.15–20 M3 For Mineral Processing

SF Mining Flotation Cell 0.15–20m³ for Mineral Processing

The SF Mining Flotation Cell is engineered for efficient flotation separation of non-ferrous metal ores, ferrous metal minerals and non-metallic minerals. Featuring advanced impeller technology and optimized tank design, this equipment delivers superior performance in mineral processing applications.

Product Overview

Designed with a backward-inclined double-sided impeller, the SF flotation cell promotes upper and lower pulp circulation while providing effective air intake and air-slurry mixing. Available in cell volumes from 0.15 to 20 m³ and processing capacities from 0.06 to 20 m³/min, the SF series offers comprehensive size options for diverse mineral processing requirements.

Key Features
  • 0.15-20 m³ Cell Volume - Multiple flotation cell sizes available to meet different processing capacity and plant configuration requirements
  • Double Pulp Circulation - Backward-inclined blades on both sides of the impeller promote upper and lower slurry circulation
  • High Air Intake & Effective Dispersion - Optimized impeller and cover plate configuration ensures effective air intake and fine bubble dispersion
  • Lower Impeller Peripheral Speed - Reduced wear on key components during continuous operation
  • Efficient Froth Movement - Forward-inclined tank structure minimizes dead zones and promotes faster mineralized froth movement
Working Principle

During operation, impeller rotation creates centrifugal force that throws slurry outward, generating a negative-pressure zone within the flotation mechanism. Slurry enters the upper impeller chamber through circulation openings while slurry below flows toward the center, establishing dual circulation loops.

Air enters the mechanism and mixes thoroughly with slurry. The rotating impeller disperses air into fine bubbles throughout the cell, enabling hydrophobic mineral particles to attach and rise to the froth layer for efficient separation.

Final specifications and equipment configuration should be confirmed according to the selected model and process requirements.

Mineral Applications
  • Non-Ferrous Metal Ores - Suitable for flotation processes involving non-ferrous metal-bearing minerals
  • Ferrous Metal Minerals - Applicable to suitable ferrous mineral separation processes according to ore characteristics
  • Non-Metallic Minerals - Can be used for suitable non-metallic mineral flotation under corresponding process conditions

Actual flotation suitability depends on mineral characteristics, liberation size, pulp conditions and flotation test results.

Main Structure

The flotation cell primarily consists of: Tank • Impeller Assembly • Main Shaft • Central Tube • Air Intake Pipe • Motor • Transmission System • Scraper Mechanism

This mechanical structure ensures continuous pulp circulation, effective air-slurry mixing, and optimal bubble dispersion throughout the flotation process.

Equipment Selection

The appropriate flotation cell size should be selected according to: Ore Type • Processing Capacity • Feed Particle Size • Pulp Conditions • Flotation Time

Y&X Beijing Technology Co., Ltd. provides comprehensive flotation equipment selection and configuration support tailored to different mineral processing requirements.

For equipment selection and quotation, please provide your ore type, required processing capacity, feed particle size and process conditions.
