The Large Capacity Flotation Cell is designed for industrial mineral processing plants requiring larger flotation volumes and flexible circuit configurations.
With available cell volumes from 1 m³ to 160 m³, the equipment can be configured according to slurry flow, required flotation time and process stages, including roughing, cleaning and scavenging.

For industrial flotation plants, equipment selection should consider both cell volume and number of cells.
Processing Capacity → Slurry Flow → Required Flotation Time → Cell Volume & Quantity → Flotation Circuit
A larger flotation cell is not automatically the best choice. The appropriate configuration depends on ore characteristics, slurry flow, required flotation time and the overall flotation flowsheet.
| Item | Specification |
|---|---|
| Equipment Type | Industrial Flotation Cell |
| Series | XCF II / KYF II |
| Effective Volume | 1–160 m³ |
| Feed Particle Size | 0.3–0.01 mm |
| Air Volume | 0.05–1.4 m³/m²·min |
| Flotation Stage | Roughing / Cleaning / Scavenging |
Suitable for flotation sections in large and medium mineral processing plants, including non-ferrous, ferrous and non-metallic mineral processing applications where flotation is applicable.
For equipment selection, please provide the ore type, processing capacity, slurry flow, feed size, required flotation stages and available flotation test data.
Does a larger flotation cell always provide higher processing
capacity?
Not necessarily. Processing capacity also depends on slurry flow,
ore characteristics, required flotation time and circuit
configuration.
Can different flotation cell sizes be used in the same processing
plant?
Yes. Cell sizes and quantities can be configured according to the
requirements of different flotation stages and the overall process
flowsheet.
