The SMC type MHC2-16D is a compact pneumatic angular air gripper from SMC's MHC2 series, designed for reliable gripping and handling in industrial automation applications. Its double-acting mechanism and dual-piston construction provide effective gripping performance in a compact design.

Featuring a 16 mm bore, built-in variable throttle, and repeatability of ±0.01 mm, the MHC2-16D is suitable for automated assembly, pick-and-place systems, component handling, and machine automation.

The SMC type MHC2-16D operates using compressed air and supports consistent opening and closing of the gripper fingers. Optional auto switches are available for applications requiring position detection.
