The Dye Drum Scraper Dryer is an HG series rotary dryer made for
dye and pigment production. A uniform film of dye material adheres
to the rotating, internally heated drum, heat conducts through the
drum wall to evaporate the film moisture, and the dried product is
scraped off into a screw conveyor for collection and packing.
Because feed concentration, film thickness, temperature and
rotation speed are all adjustable, the dryer handles different dye
materials and production volumes with uniform results.
Working PrincipleA rotary drum scraper dryer is a continuously rotating device with
internal heating and conductivity. A layer of material adheres to
the rotating drum through its lower trough. Heat is transferred
through pipes to the inner wall of the drum, then to the outer
wall, and finally to the material film, causing the moisture in the
film to evaporate and dehydrate, thus drying the material. The
dried material is then scraped off the drum by scrapers mounted on
its surface and falls into a screw conveyor below the scrapers,
where it is then collected and packaged.
