This drying fluidized bed granulation dryer removes moisture from granules and powders using purified heated air in a fluidized bed. Mixing, granulation and drying run in one closed vessel, so the powder is charged once and leaves as dry, free-flowing, multi-porous spherical granules ready for the next process step.

The powdered material is fluidized in a ring and mixed with purified heated air; after a binder solution is atomized in, the hot air continuously evaporates the moisture in the agglomerates and solidifies the binder, and the cycle repeats to form dry, uniform, multi-porous spherical particles.

1. The powdered material is loaded into the raw material container.
2. Purified heated air is introduced, fluidizing the powder in a ring and mixing it with the air.
3. A binder solution is atomized and sprayed into the fluidized bed.
4. Several particles aggregate around the binder into binder-containing agglomerates.
5. The continuous hot air dries the agglomerates, evaporating the moisture and solidifying the binder.
6. The cycle repeats until uniform, multi-porous spherical particles are formed.
