Product Overview

The 140L INERGEN Fire Suppression System is a clean gas fire suppression solution built around the IG541 extinguishing agent. INERGEN is a precisely balanced mixture of nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide, specially developed as a Halon 1301 replacement for total-flooding fire protection.

INERGEN extinguishes fire by reducing the oxygen level in a protected room to below 15% — the point at which most combustible materials will no longer burn. At the same time, the carbon dioxide component stimulates the human body's uptake of oxygen, helping to protect anyone who may be trapped in the fire area from the effects of the lowered oxygen levels.
