Product Description
The use of magnesium sacrificial anodes for cathodic protection is an effective method to prevent metal corrosion. Magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes have the following characteristics: good corrosion resistance, no external DC power supply, automatic operation after installation, no maintenance, and less floor space, the project cost is low, and there is no interference with the external environment. Magnesium sacrificial anodes are widely used in petroleum pipelines, natural gas, gas pipelines and storage tanks; ports, ships, subsea pipelines, drilling platforms; airports, parking lots, bridges, power plants, municipal construction, water treatment plants, petrochemical plants, smelters, Corrosion protection of gas stations, water heaters, heat exchangers, evaporators, boilers and other equipments.
In order to ensure the stable performance of the sacrificial anode
(magnesium anode) in the soil, appropriate chemical packing
materials should be filled around the anode. The anode and the soil
are adjacent to the anode and the filler, which improves the
working environment of the anode; reduces the anode grounding
resistance and increases Anode output current; the chemical
composition of the filler is conducive to the dissolution of anode
products, does not form scabs, and reduces unnecessary anode
polarization; maintains long-term moisturization of the anode bed.
The basic requirements for chemical packing materials are:
Low resistivity, good permeability, not easy to lose; good moisture
retention. Sacrificial anode packing materials can be packed in
bags and on-site drilling. Note that the bags in bags must be
natural fiber fabrics, and chemical fiber fabrics are strictly
prohibited. Although the effect of on-site drilling and filling is
good, the amount of filler should be large. A little carelessness
will easily bring soil particles into the filler, which will affect
the quality of the packing. The thickness of the packing material
should be maintained at 5-10cm in all directions.
