Block Type & Fully Welded Plate Heat Exchanger
Structure: The corrugated plate sheets are welded to be a plate sheet bundle, then the bundle is assembled inside a bolt-connected metal frame with connection nozzles on.
Advantages:
◇ High efficiency of heat exchange: The heat transfer coefficient is 2-4 times higher than the tube & shell HE under the condition of same pressure drop;
◇ Compact structure, small volume and quick response on control;
◇ Light weight: The amount of precious metal is reduced so that the cost is saved;
◇ The plate sheets are laser auto-welding connected without gasket, so that the PHE
is high pressure & temperature resistant;
◇ The turbulence could be achieved even under the condition of slow velocity of flow and the shearing force of plate sheet wall is big enough, so that the fouling is hart to happen;
◇ The fluid is divided evenly, so that the heat transfer coefficient is improved and the flow resistance is reduced;
◇ The frame plates could be dissembled, so that it’s easy to wash and clean. Also all the welding seams are visible so that it’s convenient for maintenance.
